Mental Health Commission to Address Homeless Count 2019.
The Los Angeles County Mental Health Commission (MHC) is poised to address proposed policy changes and initiatives around homelessness and mental health. The MHC will be examining the results of the latest Countywide Homelessness Count during its next regular meeting on Thursday, June 27th. This has become a matter of increased urgency as this year’s count showed a large upward jump in the number of homeless people living in the County. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and participate in the public comment portions. Comments may also be submitted via email or regular mail as given on the agenda document (See Below).
