NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for adults living with mental illness. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators who've been there.

NAMI’s Support Groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure you and others in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to get what you need. Mental Health Commission

The County of Los Angeles Mental Health Commission meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from 11-1:30 except in November and December when they meet on the third Thursday.  Meetings are held at the County Hall of Administration, room 739.

The County of Los Angeles Mental Health Commission advises the County Board of Supervisors and Department of Mental Health Director on issues impacting the County mental health system.   The Commision is also charged with to review and approve the procedures used to ensure
community and professional involvement at all stages of the planning process.

NAMI Family Support Group in Armenian

Conducted in Armenian by culturally sensitive native speakers, our Armenian Family Support group use the same program modethat we use in our groups conducted in English and Spanish.  This support group meets weekly on Thursdays from 6-7:30 pm, at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Center, 1540 E. Each SAAC functions as a local forum of consumers, families, service providers and community representatives to provide the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH) with information, advice and recommendations regarding:
